ಕಳೆದ 30 ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದೇಶದ ಮಣ್ಣಿನ ಫಲವತ್ತತೆ ನಶಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಮಾನವ ಆರೋಗ್ಯವೂ ಕ್ಷೀಣಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಮಣ್ಣಿನ ಫಲವತ್ತತೆ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಕೃಷಿಕರು ಗಮನಹರಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಕೃಷಿ ಖಾತೆ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸಚಿವ ರಾಮನಾಥ್ ಠಾಕೂರ್ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.…..ಮುಂದೆ ಓದಿ….
ವಿಶ್ವ ತೆಂಗು ದಿನಾಚರಣೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು, ತೆಂಗು ಬೆಳೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೈಸರ್ಗಿಕ ಕೃಷಿಗೆ ಆದ್ಯತೆ ನೀಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದ ಅವರು ತೆಂಗು ಬೆಳೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತ ಮೊದಲ ಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆರಲು ಬೆಳೆಗಾರರು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಶ್ರಮಿಸಬೇಕು. ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾದಷ್ಟು ನೈಸರ್ಗಿಕ ಕೃಷಿಗೆ ಆದ್ಯತೆ ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ಸಲಹೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ತೆಂಗು ಉತ್ಪಾದನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತ 3ನೇ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು, ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ತೆಂಗು ಉತ್ಪಾದನೆಯಾಗಬೇಕಿದೆ. ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ವಿಶೇಷತೆಗಳಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿದ ತೆಂಗಿನ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟ ವರ್ಧನೆಗೆ ಆದ್ಯತೆ ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು.

Addressing the World Coconut Day event, he emphasized the importance of prioritizing natural farming in coconut cultivation. He urged growers to strive towards making India a leader in coconut production by working diligently. He recommended giving preference to natural farming methods whenever feasible. He mentioned that India ranks third in coconut production globally and emphasized the need for increased coconut production in the country.
